Many ways exist for you to support Bee Patches in Marin, Sonoma, Mendocino and Lake Counties:
ANYONE: can volunteer to help us develop and grow the program
YOUTH GROUPS: We wish to work with youth groups interested in planting pollinator habitats
LANDOWNERS: We are looking for landowners who would like to set aside a small patch on their property for planting a pollinator habitat garden containing all the elements to support honey bees and native bees: flowering plants across the seasons, water source, undisturbed ground for nesting, and avoidance of pesticides.
GARDENERS: If you have gardening skills, we always need volunteers to help shepherd our projects through to completion
BEE KEEPERS: If you raise bees and like to tell people about them, we need volunteers for helping teach youth about bees and their needs
